About

Born in Brazil. Trained in São Paulo. Living in the Bavarian Alps for more than twenty years.

I graduated in Translation and Interpreting (English and Portuguese) and in Teacher Education at Universidade Ibero-Americana in 1999, and have worked as a full-time translator since 2000.

Over the years the work moved from agency projects in IT and marketing to long-running localization programmes in medical devices, automotive and software. In recent years much of it has been in AI: evaluating and post-editing large language model output for enterprise programmes.

German is my daily language, not a studied one. Brazilian Portuguese stays sharp because I work in it every day. I am also a certified Virtologist, which is why publishers send me books on religion, spirituality and personal development.
